This is the first book in the Harrow Creek Hawks Series and wow what a way to begin a series. It is the story of Alana, JD and Reid. Alana is a woman in a man’s world and those men have been horrible to her in so many ways. She is a captive of the Harrow’s Creek Hawk’s heir Reid Harris and his best friend Julian Dempsey. She is married to a man named Maverick and he has always been her light in the darkness and now is trying to be her dark knight. However she knows that the only way away from this twisted duo is to spill all her secrets. I have to stop there because I feel like anything I say about this book from this little description on will be a spoiler and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. I think the less you know about this book the better off you are. I went in blind and I am so glad that I did it that way. I’d have been mad if someone had ruined it for me. This book is twisted and full of secrets and lies. You will love these characters and this book is one that you won’t be putting down. The end of this book will nearly stop your heart. I can’t wait to have the next book in my hands. I will be impatiently waiting.
