This is the third and final book in the Kind of Shadows Series from Amelia Wilde. You have to read King of Shadows and Summer Queen before Midnight Kingdom. I am so loving this series and Hades and Persephone. I am so sad that our time with them is over. They have had one heck of a journey and now the war is at their doorstep. If you have read the other book then you know that if these two have been on one heck of a roller coaster ride. We have gotten to watch these two grow and change as they have gone through all they have been through. Working toward a common goal has really made them grow as people. We get to see both the soft side that Persephone brings out in Hades but don’t let that fool you into thinking he is still not the same ruthless man we have all come to know and love. I don’t want to give away anything about the conclusion of this book. But I will tell you that it is dark and twisted, full of passion and fire, will have you on the edge of your seat and the twist will blow your mind. I loved this book so much and devoured it!!! If you haven’t started this series then you need to. I don’t know why you wouldn’t. And if you have been waiting like me on this third book then you will love it, get everything you ever wanted from this series and fall deeper in love with these characters. Amelia Wilde has done one heck of an amazing job writing these characters and their story.
