Misadventures of a Backup Bride is the fourth book in the Misadventures Series. Each book can be read as standalone.
This book was so much fun to read. We meet Carson who in the blink of an eye becomes a billionaire. However the company he inherits is strapped for cash and will not last another day. Carson is forces to go to one of his dads rivals and a deal is struck. He will loan Carson the money if he signs over some of the shares of the business and gets married to his daughter. Desperate Carson agrees but gets cold feet and tells the man he is in love with someone else and can’t marry his daughter. Never thinking the man would just want Carson to get married period it all backfires and the man tells Carson he is fine with giving him the money as long as he marries the woman who has his heart. Enters Ella Hope. A struggling actress who is willing to do anything for a role. Is this a role though that she will be able to carry out. I so can’t tell you. You will have to read and find out.
I am loving the Misadventures Series. If you have not read any of them yet you need to. You are missing out of some of the most fun books I’ve ever read.
