Misadventures with My Roommate by Elizabeth Hayley Release Review + Giveaway

Gavin Gibson’s a dreamer whose artsy aspiration don’t meet the high expectations of his wealthy family. Cast off and cut off, Gavin needs a place to live. When he is invited to share Blake’s quaint apartment, he cannot pass it up. With a knack for spotting the good in others, Gavin can see past Blake’s quirks-and neither of them can ignore the sexual chemistry. As sparks fly, their genuine affection for each other grows and Gavin begins to break down Blake’s defenses. But can Blake open p to reveal the damage she’s worked so hard to conceal.

This book while including two characters who don’t have the easiest past, is so much fun to read. You are so going to fall in love with Blake and Gavin. I found Blake to be funny and I loved that she was different from other people and had not filter. Anything the girl thinks comes out of her mouth but it is making it impossible for her to keep a roommate. She is also starting a new job at a coffee shop. The first days she sees Gavin and very openly flirts with him. I would say the attraction was there from the beginning for these two. Gavin for his part is a starving artist who has just got kicked out of his apartment he was sharing with a guy who decided to use his rent money for drugs instead of paying rent. So, the opportunity is perfect when Blake offers Gavin to be her roommate. These two have amazing chemistry and you just know that they are going to be stripping for each other from the get go which is fine with Blake as long as Gavin does not become attached. She doesn’t have boyfriends ever. This is a story of two people searching for their real places in the world and the person to share that life with just might surprise them both. I loved every second of this book.
