Nailed Down by Chelle Bliss & Eden Butler Release Review

Nailed Down is the first book in the Nailed Down Series from Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler. This is a complete novel but I will promise you that you will be anxious to have the second book in your hands to read immediately. This book is just that good.

Kit Carlyle isn’t jut some woman. She is beautiful and seductive. She is also my best friend and co-worker. But, I am a guy with a pulse. Every once in a while, I take a look and think filthy things about her and maybe I shouldn’t. But when her cousin dies and leaves her with a long and sexy bucket list. Kit turns to me for a helping hand. What can I say? I am a sucker for a woman in need. Besides, I am sure not about to let another man steal away my girl, occupy her bed, or fill my shoes. But as the stakes get higher and the items become hotter, I will have to face the toughest challenge of all: admitting I want more than Kit’s friendship. I want to make her mine.

I am a huge fan of best friends to lovers book. This being said I fell so in love with Kit and Kane. Kit and Kane work together on a reality show where they remodel houses. From the very beginning they have been friends but are so attracted to each other. They neither one want to admit the truth to themselves but when Kit’s cousin dies and leaves Kit a bucket list of things to do she immediately goes to Kane for help. However a couple of the things on the list Kit would be fine with Kane helping her to achieve but Kane for some reason is holding himself back. I loved the chemistry between these two characters. It is so intense that you could feel it down to your toes so I can’t even imagine how these two were feeling around each other. Add in a drunken Kit and a kiss when she and Kane were dancing in a bar, that gets recorded and put on social media and the producer of their show sees ratings gold and a chance for their show to get a new time slot. This is added pressure on the both of them and Kane has never been on for attention for the fans and Kit handles it much better. Though in many fun adventure that Kane helps Kit with and then his brother Keil and a determined Kit and you have one amazing story that I promise you you will read in one sitting and love. I personally could have spent many more hours with Kane and Kit and am looking forward to Keil’s story. I hope we get a glimpse in that book of how things for them are going.
