This is the second book in the Kings of Cypress Prep Series. You need to read the first book, The Golden Boys, before this one or you are going to be lost. Never His Girl picks up right where The Golden Boys left off and it is such a great read. You get to finally see Wes get real about his feelings and why things have happened to Blue the way they have. There are secrets spilling out of him like water from a faucet at times but your still left trying to figure out the connection his dad has to Blue and why in the world he is after a teenage girl. I don’t want to give anything away about this story but I will tell you that I loved Blue more than I already had. She is one tough cookie that gives as good as she gets. We still have Ricky who is pretty cryptic at times but I still love him just as much as I did. I hope that boy finds a forever and soon. Then there is Wes and his brothers along with Joss. This book just comes together beautifully and I felt like it was everything I was hoping it would be but now I need the third book like I need the air I breath. I so can’t wait to have it in my hands. There are so many directions that book could do in. If you have not started this series then you are missing out. I am loving it. Addicted to it. Can’t wait for more.
