Nixon’s Promise is a new Romantic Suspense from Riley Edwards. This book is the first in a series and I’m pretty sure you’ll want to read this one before the others are released.

Nixon Swagger is home after several tours with the military as a Navy SEAL. He’s missed so much but is back home trying to get his fathers farm back in working order. There’s a few things in town that has changed since he left. One of those being seeing a woman he’s never seen who he immediately is attracted to.

McKenna Wilson loves the small town she now calls home. She’s never met the town’s “bad boy” Nixon Swagger but heard a lot about him from her friends that have known him all their lives. Little did she know Nix was about to change her life forever.

I really like the dynamic between these two characters. Nix and McKenna work pretty well together and his understanding of her family and where they’re coming from with their losses.

There’s some interesting characters in this book. You’ll want to strangle a couple of them. The Gemini Group you’ll be cheering for as they’ve got their acts together.
