Keegan Hughes has been through a lot, but she has refused to let the bad in her life keep her down. She is fiercely independent, sarcastic, and funny as all get out! She has zero filter and says whatever she thinks. She is certain that a zombie apocalypse in inevitable, so she has a stock pile of everything she might need when this occurs. Crazy, right? Oh well, we all have our quirks! 🙂 When she moves into her new apartment, she meets Adrian Elliott not realizing that this guy will be her game changer.
Adrian is known as the campus clown. He has a reputation for sleeping with lots of girls and making a spectacle out of himself whenever the situation presents itself. What people don’t realize is that Adrian is so much more. He has survived losing his mother at a young age and an abusive and neglectful father who left him to raise his three younger brothers. Much like Keegan, Adrian is determined to move on from the past and make a future for himself. When he has his first encounter with Keegan, he instantly feels a strong connection to her. As time goes by, he breaks down the walls that Keegan has built around her heart, and they end up falling madly in love. Things are great until secrets are revealed that have the power to blow their relationship apart.
I cannot express how much I loved this book! I fell hard for both Keegan and Adrian. They are both strong characters not to mention the fact that they are perfect for one another! This is the second book in the What Kinda Love series and even though it can be read as a stand alone, why not read the first book? The title is Shy Kinda Love, and it is just as good as this book! I can’t wait to read more from this series! Great Job, Deanna Eshler!!
