**Carla’s Five Star Review**
This is the amazing conclusion to the Unyielding series. It is Catalina aka “Alina” and Connor’s story. This is not a stand alone. To avoid confusion, you need to read the other books in the series before this one.
When we first meet Connor, he is a fun loving guy. After being tortured for seven years, he is no longer the man he once was. His memories are fragmented, and he is violent and full of rage. The only thing that may have a chance at bringing him out of the madness is her.
One. One. Five. It took Alina one second to know that she was attracted to Connor. One Hour before he made her laugh. Five days for her to fall head over heels in love with him. She knew what they shared only came along once in a lifetime, but when outside forces threaten her family, she is forced to leave him and return to Columbia. The years that follow are hell for both of them. When fate brings them back together, it is obvious to Alina that Conner is a broken and damaged man, but she refuses to believe that the man she fell in love with isn’t somewhere locked deep inside of him. Can her love be the glue that puts his broken pieces back together?
I absolutely love this book/ series! The love between Alina and Conner was beautiful, and, at times, it was downright heartbreaking! Alina was such a great heroine! She had a quiet strength that most people fail to possess. Her love for Connor was pure and self sacrificing. And Connor? What he went through just broke my heart. If ever a couple deserved a happily ever after, it was these two. The question is-do they get it? Well, you will just have to read this series to find out! Trust me you will love every word. While I am sad to see this series end, this really was the perfect conclusion! This book/series is a must read!!
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Perfect Ruin is the second book in the Unyielding Series following Perfect Chaos. This is Kai and London’s story. A story I have wanted since reading Nashoda’s Tears Asunder Series. You don’t have to read that series to know who Kai and London are but you also shouldn’t miss it because it is amazing. You do however need to read Perfect Chaos for the story to make sense.
Kai, harden cold blooded killer. He makes no attachments or cares for no one. He’s been trained that way. An expert marksman with his knifes, he is fearless. Death would be a welcomed relief to Kai in the world he comes from. Until he meets London and everything slowly changes what he has always known.
London, college student, daughter of a scientist, and a very caring person. A sweet innocent bookworm who wants nothing more than to finish college and save lives through her work. That is until she meets Kai. After that everything changes and not for the good.
Will these two ever have a change at a life together? What will be the cost?
I was so excited to have this book in my hands. Both Kai and London were such a mystery to me all through the Tears Asunder Series and in Perfect Chaos. Kai appears to be the perfect gentlemen. Handsome, confident, but cold. He’s been trained his entire life to be this way by the Vault. The Vault is owned and operated by Kai’s mother and board members and is everyone’s worst nightmare as they train children to submit and turn them into killing machines to do their bidding. London and Kai meet as her father is involved, not by choice, but London makes a deal with Kai to keep her father safe. One week with Kai and her father is safe and she can move on with her life. Or so she thought. This book is intense and at times just hard to even imagine the things that are happening in it. Therefore if dark reads disturb you, you it want to skip it. I however am a lover or dark books and this is dark reading at its finest. When a author has you in their clutches from the get go, and you think a cold blooded killer is the hottest guy on the planet, you know it’s an amazing read. Best book ever actually. I’d give it a hundred stars if that was possible. This book too set up perfectly in the end the road to Perfect Rage. Connor’s story. A story I can’t wait to get my hands on.
Don’t miss this book Nashoda Rose is absolutely the best at what she writes and I would read anything she writes.
