hell.
apart?
65,000+ words.
Preach is not a standalone. You must read Church first or you are going to be lost.
A shattered woman. A changed man. Church Logan wanted to kill someone, and Emma Hartley wanted to die-they were the match made in hell. But one little cut, a pint or two of blood, and suddenly everything between them is different. Are they still destined for greatness? Or has the darkness finally eclipsed them and torn them apart.? Look like it’s time for Church to practice what he preaches. Ignition, meet explosion.
Preach will take you deeper into Emma and Church’s minds and you learn what really makes them tick. I thought this book was absolutely amazing and I could not for one second lay it down. I devoured the second half of the story of Emma and Church. Buckle up, your going to be shocked more times than not. This book will blow your mind and I am so glad that I didn’t miss this duet.
A broken girl. An unusual boy. A beautiful face that hides a dark secret and an ugly past. Sealed lips which hides wicked words and dangerous thoughts. She would kill for him to love her. He just wants to kill. Maybe, if Emma Hartley prays hard enough, Church Logan can make both their wishes come true. Fuse meet match.
It took me a little while to really enjoy the writing style. It is not told from his point or her point of view but more like looking in on their lives and then you are in what is actually happening from their prospective. Once I got use to that thought his story was dark and made up of two characters that are different from other people but you learn that their thoughts are quiet disturbing. I will warn you that Emma is a very obsessive person and that surprised me the most as she didn’t seem to start that way. It’s an ending you will never see coming. Be warned this is not a standalone and you will be left wanting Preach right away. I consider myself lucky because I didn’t have to wait for it. It was on my kindle waiting for me to review.
