โœจ ๐๐‹๐”๐‘๐ โœจ ๐—˜๐—ฉ๐—”๐—ก There are lines you do not cross. As a teacher, a professional, a man. Nora Volkov is everything I cannot have and should not want. To the point of madness. My brightest student, shadowed by a darkness she tries to hide, from others, but mostly from herself. I see it though, in tiny flashes of vulnerability when her guard drops. I’m collecting those moments as my obsession with her deepens. Until one reckless decision tears us apart. ๐—ก๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—” Dr. Locke is one of the most disagreeable people I’ve ever met. Nothing is good enough. My work, my thoughts, my mere existence seems to offend him. Every interaction with the gorgeous, broody professor is charged with animosity. It’s hard enough to be a woman in my future line of work, taking classes surrounded by men that feel more entitled just because of their sex, but adding the fury from a petulant professor is not something I am prepared for. Until we are forced into each other’s space and begin to peel our layers back one by one. I used I used to think hating a teacher would be the worst kind of problem, but I was wrong. Falling in love with him is so much worse. . .

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Nora and Evan and I have to tell you that his is one smoking hot little story. I am a sucker for a man with a dirty mouth and Evan for sure had one. This is a forbidden romance that you are not going to be able to put down. It is also a student/teacher romance with a whole lot of a different twist that just the standard student/teacher romance.
Dr. Evan Locke is a miserable, sexy very rude teacher who hates his job. He probably never should have been a teacher, but he has to have a steady income to get by in life but it also lets him focus on becoming a writer. This is where his real passion lays. The man is nothing short of just a horrible person because he sure doesn’t like his student or the way all the girls are always flirting with him. But there just might be one student that he doesn’t hate and has no interest in and doesn’t mind the flirting.
Nora is super smart. She is graduating early She is smart but very insecure and one of the brightest students in the entire school. She is so not trilled to be taking Dr Locke’s class and wouldn’t be doing it all if she didn’t have to. The man after all is always rude and calling the shots and she’s certainly no fan of being called out. One night though it is icy on her way home and fate must have had some serious plans and she crashes into his mailbox and things take a turn neither of them expected. This book is so good. I really loved reading this unexpected little story..

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too.
