Charlotte Ash is bight, young, traumatized, and my newest Art Therapy student. I’ve taught many people how to conquer their demons through art. But Charlotte’s demons threaten to consume us both From the moment we lock eyes, I can’t stop watching her, can’t get her out of my head. She haunts my dreams and awakens my most depraved desires. I’m addicted to her darkness. I crave her pain. And I want her in the worst way. I know I’m a monster, but I can’t bear to stay in the shadows anymore. I need her by my side. Forever. But what if my sweet Charlotte can’t give me all I demand? What if, instead of haling her, I leave her broken…just like me?
This is a dark stalker series. With that said, if you have triggers you might want to heed the warning that his book might contain some triggers for some people. This book is the size of a novella and is really good, dark, and gritty and you will not be able to put it down. This is a taboo teacher/student romance between an art therapy professor named Gideon who finds himself really drawn to his student Charlotte, but his attraction to her quickly turns into an obsession. This in turns causes Gideon to cross all kinds of lines to protect Charlotte who is haling from the traumas she suffered. But meeting Gideon is opening up things in her that she sure never expected to feel. I said this was a novella but it sure does not feel like one as it has a lot of things going on in it. I now can’t wait to get the full book and see what is going to happen.
