If you are a fan of rom-com’s or a fan of M. Robinson, you are not going to want to miss this book. I loved the first book in this series but this one just blew me away. I devoured this story and I loved it so so much. It is beautiful. It is funny. It is just everything you want in a book that is going to steal your heart and have you smiling like crazy and laughing out loud while reading. This is Ashton’s story and it is such a great story. When he was young he and his friends made the Playboy Pact. None of them were to fall in love and settle down, ever. Well, one of them has already broken it and now Ashton might just be the next. When he was a teenager he went to a party and there he met a girl named Sage. Their connection was instant until her ex-boyfriend decided to stick his nose in and a fight between the two happens and Sage is left with a choice to go with Ashton away from the mess and the man who broke her heart or stay. This is also her sixteenth birthday and she isn’t over her ex yet so he surprises her with a bed in his truck bed and things get out of hand quickly. Fast forward eight years and Sage is the mother of twins raising them on her own with the help of her family and her best friend Aspyn. Haiden and Haven are really good kids who have a really great mom and she has devoted her life to them. However, she is still young. After all, she is just twenty-four and deserves to go out and have a little fun and Aspyn has gotten them tickets to a charity speed dating event. Of course, she would be the last one standing when it was called that everyone should be in their places so she ends up shouting out any need a partner and a man with a really great voice answered. She never ever expected to see Ashton at this even and she sure never thought she would be going home with him. The night was defiantly properly named The Fling and things were looking up for Aspen until suddenly they were not. I laughed so hard during this night even if Ashton wasn’t. I swear Sage has my luck and nothing turns out like it is supposed to. But that is just the beginning of the story and you’re going to love the rest of it. There is laughter and romance and let me tell you that Ashton has a dirty mouth and I love a male character that has a really dirty mouth. I just swoon all over the place for some reason. However Sage is keeping a secret and when it finally comes out things are going to be changing. Now, this is the part where I do not want you to want to choke the fire out of little Haiden. I thought I was going to have to jump in this book and strangle him myself. But have faith. You’ll see what I mean when you get there. I loved this book so much and I really loved that we got to see all the guys and girls from the first book and see what they were up to. It sets you up really great for the next book in the series. I can not wait to have that one in my hands too. That does not mean this book ends on a cliffhanger. It doesn’t it is a complete story. Go ahead and dive in. You’re going to love all these characters as much as I did but I am claiming Ashton. He is mine!! M Robinson did a fantastic job with this book and I am loving this series so very much.
