Rekindling the Flame is Part of the Den Of Sin series and is my first read in this series. It’s a series about a New Orleans Hotel nicknamed Den Of Sin because of its secret activities. Each book is a standalone and written by five different authors with overlapping characters in the stories.
This novella is about Sabine and Hot IT Guy or better known to her as her brothers best friend Xander. Sabine had just been dumped by her fiancé of eight years and Xander is divorced and gun shy where relationships are concerned since his divorce. This is their second chance love story.
I really enjoyed this novella and having read no other books in the series I had no trouble getting into the story and staying with it, Sabine is a strong female character devoted to starting up her company and is staying at the hotel because of a family members medically induced a comma. She and Xander or Hot IT guy reconnect when she trying to send a huge encrypted file back to California over the hotels not meant to handle that kind of file server. It’s a shot fast paced second chance romance that I enjoyed. I would not mind reading more stories in this series either.
