However, she doesn’t realize how much she needs them until her latest assignment puts her on the radar of a dangerous stalker.

For Yanis Mazur the safety of his PASS team is paramount. Even if that means sacrificing his personal life. Not only did he spend years building his security firm, but also the shield protecting his emotions. Yet when the one person who could breach his walls goes missing during an assignment he sent her on, he’s willing to risk both his business and his heart to get her back.

This is the fourth book in Freya Barker’s PASS Series. I have been so wanting to get Yanis’s story and here it is. He is the head of the PASS group and is forty-six and then you have forty-two year old Bree. I tell you their ages so that you know that Freya writes books about older couple and not teens and early twenties like so many books do. I love that she writes older couple and that they are suspense books. Yanis and Bree have a history and fifteen years ago he pushed her away and essentially broke her heart and she has never forgotten it. But that hasn’t stopped them from working together side by side and up close and personal day to day. However Yanis has never forgotten how much he loved her. In fact she is the love of his life and he would do anything for her but she doesn’t really know she was the love of his life, only that he pushed her out of it. But Bree also recovered and he had to watch as she got married and began a life with another man. They were once on a job and Bree caught the attention of the bad guy. Bodies line up and she has to recover from a incident in Yanis’s home. Talk about hard to do. But now the guy is back to finish the job and Yanis is putting it on on the line to save her. I don’t want to give the story away but this was a great book that kept me guessing and one the edge of my seat.
