5 star paranormal read!!
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Reece, a High Priestess, belongs to a coven with her boyfriend, Piers, and her best friend Nate. Piers has always had a bit of a dark side, but he lets it consume him after Reece is attacked one night. Piers turns to black magic in order to obtain revenge on the boys who attacked Reece. Reece breaks up with Piers because she can tell he has changed, but Piers refuses to let her go. Reece has a vision of her death, and she is told that there is someone who can save her. Reece receives a strange mark, and she is told that her savior shares the mark. She then meets Alex who is a very old and powerful vampire. She discovers that Alex is the one who shares the mark. Can Alex save her or is she doomed? This is an excellent paranormal read mixed with some romance. Rabenaugh’s writing style draws the reader into this mysterious world from the start and doesn’t disappoint! The reader is left with a cliffhanger that leaves the reader wanting more!!
