Carla’s Review:

I was given a copy of this book as a gift from the author in exchange for
an honest review.

4 stars for Reasons to Stay by Lisa J. Hobman.  This is the continuation of
Jason and Stevie’s story.  This is not a stand alone, and in order to avoid
confusion, you need to read the first book which is entitled Reasons to
Leave.

After reading a letter left to him by his deceased mother, Jason freaks out
and once again leaves without explanation.  After he returns and shares the
information that he mother revealed, chaos ensues leaving the reader to
follow the characters on a crazy emotional roller coaster ride of
emotions.  As the story unfolds, Jason and Stevie both keep letting outside
forces and confusion keep them apart!  These two wasted so much time being
miserable when they could have just communicated with one another and
resolved their issues.  I swear there were many points in the story where I
was yelling at them via my Kindle telling them to get their heads out of
their asses!

This book was filled with many twists and turns, and I was constantly
wondering if Jason and Stevie would ever wake up and realize that they were
meant for one another.  I must say that Lisa J. Hobman is a talented author
who knows how to create characters who the reader can connect with on a
very personal level.  When Jason and Stevie hurt, I hurt.  When they were
happy, I felt their joy.  This is a really good story that I would highly
recommend.
