Take a chance…in the new series Playing a Player by Ivy Smoak.
Keira’s last single friend just got married, leaving her roommate-less. When Rory shows up at her door for an interview, she’s more than a little surprised to find out that a guy has answered her ad. A super sexy guy.
Living with a man wasn’t exactly what she had in mind. But when all the other applicants don’t seem to be a good fit, she can’t help but let her mind wander back to Rory. Maybe he’s exactly the kind of roommate she needs. And she can’t help but imagine being with him. Little does she know that he doesn’t do relationships. Will she cross her line of morality in order to be with him?
Renee’s Review:
Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.
Keira finds herself without a roommate after her last one got married and moved out. She has to find one before the rent becomes due again because she can’t afford the place by herself. Rory shows up for her first roommate interview and she’s immediately smitten with him though reluctant to live with a man. After many horrible interviews she decides to let Rory move in. Rory and his two best friends Comner and Jackson soon makes themselves at home and the attraction to Rory grows stronger every single day. He a guys who’s been hurt and only does one night stands. She’s sweet and innocent and wants Rory bad. Can Keira get him? If she does can she convience him that they are so much more than a one night stand.
I loved this books. It’s a quick read but it’s packed with everything you expect a love story to be packed with. Kiera cracked me up She is hilarious and is always rambling nonsense when she gets nervous and finds herself that way around Rory quiet often. Rory is a sweet guy who has more to him than chiseled abs and food looks. Thrown in Comner and Jackson and all there get tithe the and it’s a book you don’t want to miss.
This was my first read from Ivy Smoak but it won’t be my last.
