I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is a dark romance and if you have triggers then you will want to take the warnings in the front of the book seriously. It is the fifth book in the Bellandi Crime Syndicate but it can be read as a standalone. This is my first time reading a book in this series and I have to tell you that I loved it so much I so want to go back and read the books before this one. I should also probably warn you that I was at times a mess reading this book and it broke my heart at times and I could not hold back the tears. You might want to have the Kleenex at the ready too. The beginning of this story is absolutely crazy and just slaps you in the face and man it is so emotional. I don’t even know how to describe how emotional it was. I’m not a huge crier during book either but this one got me. Also don’t worry if you wanna knock Scar up the side of the head a time or twenty. I wanted him to go after his woman way before he ever did and I thought it was going to give me a panic attack from the anticipation alone. You are so going to fall in love with Irina too. That girl is sassy and I so love me a sassy female character. I don’t even want to talk about the story for fear of giving something away in this book. I really loved the way it is written and you feel like you are living every moment of this book right beside the characters. This is a book that you do not want to miss.
