Scorch by Chelle Bliss is now live!

After spending years of his life in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Nevin Walsh doesn’t know where he fits in anymore. His family has changed, and the world is a very different place. But then, his brother’s best friend, Luna Gallo, makes it her personal mission to help him settle back into his newfound freedom. He should say no. Turn her away. But there’s something about the woman who radiates sunshine that makes her impossible to ignore. And the harder he pushes her away, the harder she comes. And what starts off as an unwanted friendship turns into something he never expects. But can Nevin let go of the hurt from his past to allow himself happiness in his future?

Renee’s Five Star Review I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the tenth book in the Men of Inked Heatwave series. It is a standalone but I think you get more out of each book if you have read the one before it. This is the story of Nevin and Luna. Nevin has been in prison for a very long time. When he is released he fells like his is beyond lost. He has no friends and the world he knew when he went in is not the world he comes back out in to. I imagine that this would be a difficult transition for anyone. His family has even changed and I really was so heart broken for him. After all he was just a teenager when he went to prison and now he is a man. One thing he does have going for him is his sense of humor was great but the man has to be in survival mode all the time. When he meets his brother’s best friend Luna he has found a friendship for live weather he want’s it or not. And he so doesn’t want it. But Luna is a spunky, doesn’t take no for an answer ever kind of Gallo. She is super impulsive too and I don’t think that he got that at times either or didn’t appreciate it. There are a lot of emotions flying all over the place and apologizes, some groveling and some moments that just might melt the kindle in your very hands. I loved this story so much. I love this entire Gallo universe. I have since the beginning. You do not want to miss falling in love with Luna and Nevin.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
