I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Oh gosh I could gush about this book for forever!!!! I devoured it and I loved every single second of everything about this book. This is the story of Adrain and Paige.
Adrian Drake is a self made billionaire and now that he has accomplished that he has just one mission in life. He is on a mission to protect and win back the love of his life. The woman that he had to hurt twelve years ago. However if he thinks that Paige Summers is going to listen to a thing he has to say, or let him tell her what to do in life he has another thing coming. When he broke her heart she didn’t only lose him on that day she also lost her very best friend in the world, Cade, who also happens to be Adrian’s brother. In this process though Adrian hurt himself just as much if not more when he let her go for what he thought at the time was all the right reasons. When a girl has a stalker though that is seriously after her the best thing in his mind is for her to stay and work for him so that he can keep her safe. Now they are thrown into a situation where they are together all the time and it isn’t long at all before the sparks are flying all over the place and the temptation to fall back into what they once were are very high. But can Paige trust him with her heart again after what happened the first time? Or will he have to do the unthinkable and break his own heart and set her free when it is safe to do so? Well, I can’t really tell you but I can say that I loved these characters. I love that Adrian would do anything to protect her. He is certainly a alpha male in every sense of the word. He is a butt a lot of the times but it sure makes for great entertainment. It’s a real challenge for a man who is like a pit bull in business and he can’t be that way with Paige at all. She is a challenge for him too as she just does not fall at his feet ever. She isn’t the girl he left broken twelve years so. She has changed and grown and is a very confident, sassy independent woman who isn’t willing to let go of that hard fought independence no matter what. Filled with angst, drama and a stalker that will keep you reading well past your bedtime this is a book that you don’t wanna miss and probably my favorite in the whole Second Chance series.
