I love reading this Repunzel inspired retelling. This is the story of Kol and Rapsody. He is a damaged character that was in the military. There is no way this man can be in a room and everyone in it not take notice. He is a jealous possessive alpha male and you are going to fall for him hard. The man carries around some serious demons and anger from his past but he knows how to love deeply. Rhapsody is under his skin and he is a man who claims to have a cold dead heart. They have a past, and he has never been able to forget about her no matter that she abandoned him at the court house. Rapsody is sheltered. Really really sheltered. The restrictions and manipulation of her mother have really put a fear in her. Her first taste of freedom comes in the form of Kol. But her mother just couldn’t let her have him and took it all away with her twisted evil mind games. Have I mentioned how much I despise her mother? I so do. Where she is sweet and innocent he is angry and very twisted and you would think that wouldn’t work but it does. I have to be quiet now or I am going to say something that I really shouldn’t. Run and grab this book. You won’t regret reading it.
