This is a dark romance. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book.
This is the story of Kaylee and Braxton. They were in love once. He would have given up his career, heck any and everything for her. But that never happened because she lit the match and destroyed him in the process. Now years later he is a star who loves his hard drinking ways and he has women throwing themselves at him at every turn. Haylee’s life is a mess too and she needs a job and gets one but has to go out on tour for with Raging Chaos and in doing so she becomes the person who has to watch the man she once loved and never stopped loving, every move destroy her a little more every single day. I don’t really want to get into the story because there are so many things I could say that would be a spoiler. This book is gritty and dark and at times my heart just shattered right alongside these characters. It is a long and not easy road for these two and I was really so engrossed in this book that it just took me away from the world and I was all over the place emotionally.
