This is the first book in a duet. It is also a dark read and you will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book before you start reading.
On Halloween night in the town of Hellcrest Heights, which is a seaside town, an event that happened that night cause a girl names Lakyn Ashford to have to leave that place and go live in Montana with her aunt and uncle. Now a year later she is back and she has friends and life seems to be great except she is carrying a huge secret and a stalker is terrorizing her and her friends. Well I have to say that means some edge of your seat reading and just about all I could tell you about the story without giving something away. I think I almost lost it a little bit when the end of the book came. I am still sitting her processing what I just read. I loved every single second of it and couldn’t lay this book down. Now I just need the second book in my greedy little hands right now.
