I thought straight-laced Miles Cavanaugh followed all the rules… oh how wrong I was.

This is the story of Miles and Bryce. These two absolutely cannot stand each other. They have always been forced to be around each other since they share the same friend group. When he moves away to Chicago because he is traded to a different ball team, she can finally breathe. However not long after that she is offered a job that she can’t turn down. She is a writer and Chicago has to be a big city right? Little did she know that she would end up being the one take over reporting for his team the Grizzlies. She has to travel with the team and interview them, and cover their games. Now the man she didn’t want to run into, she is having to spend a whole lot of time with him. Things are about to get very interesting between these two. I loved these characters. They have some absolutely amazing banter together. Bryce is fiercely independent and strong. As a sports reporter she deals with a lot of crazy behavior with the men on the team. Myles is a big old sweetheart and I just adored him. The more I got to know him the more I loved him. He isn’t your typical I’m a sports man and I can get all the ladies kind of guy. He is a man who knows what he wants and fake one night stands are never going to be it. There is tension in this book that you can feel when you are reading between these two but like I said the banter is just off the charts. I loved getting to read this book. It was so good.
