Review Copy of book received in exchange for an honest review.Wow! What a hot, steamy read! I loved everything about this book. It hooked me right from the start, and I had trouble putting it down. This is the first book I have read by Blakely Bennett, but it sure won’t be my last. The story flowed smoothly which played in my mind like a movie. I loved the characters. I loved how close they all are.Jacqs is a 28 year old woman who has been in an on again off again relationship with Bond, her best friend, and lover for years. Bond continually breaks her heart over and over and makes her feel like she is never enough for him as he is unable to commit to her exclusively. She’s finally had enough.
Red is Bond’s best friend, whom has never gotten along with Jacqs. They loved to hate each other. But suddenly after a chance encounter has him coming to her rescue, things begin to change. Maybe he hasn’t really hated her after all. Maybe he was distancing himself for other reasons. Soon Jacqs is caught up in a whirlwind romance with Red, which Bond notices a change and starts chasing. When Red suggests she date them both, she can’t even fathom how it could possibly work. How will Bond React when he finds out about them. What will all their friends think?
This book was beautifully paced. It left me wanting more. There were some questions unanswered at the end. Not so much a cliffhanger, but things I want to find out about other characters in the book. I’m excited to read the next installment. I will be impatiently waiting. 5 well-deserved stars from me!

Blakely Bennett grew up in Southeast Florida and has been residing in the great Northwest for over eight years. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a degree in psychology, which accounts for her particular interest in crafting the personalities, struggles, and motivations of her characters. She is an avid reader of many genres of fiction, but especially erotica and romance. Writing has always been her bliss. She is attracted to stories of self-struggle and ultimate recovery.
Blakely is married to a wonderful, loving and supportive husband, also a writer, who helps to keep her grounded. She is a mother, a communitarian, a lover of music (always on while she is writing—thank you, Pandora), and a good friend. An advocate of love and female empowerment, she is a facilitator for a women’s group. She loves to walk and hike for exercise and finds that, since moving to Seattle, WA, she is now one of those “crazy” people who walk in the rain.
Stuck In Between (erotic romance) is her 5th novel. She is also the author of the dark erotic suspense, My Body Trilogy (My Body-His, My Body-His (Marcello) & My Body-Mine) and co-authored the contemporary romance, The Demarcation of Jack with her husband, Dana Bennett.
