Dawn did a great job creating a story that did not disappoint. We met Lee and Rose in book one, Surviving Him, and Dawn took it up a notch in this one- book 2. I thought the story was well thought out and the writing was great.
Surviving You is not a pleasant story. At all. Both Lee and Rose have issues from the past that affect them now. Lee has a past with his family. The lifestyle they lead is not a good one. Rose has been a victim of domestic abuse and constantly has to be afraid of her ex. Their story has so many ups and downs. Some good and some bad. When things are good, they are really good. But the bad, it’s bad. Their story will rip your heart out and having you hoping for a happy ending for them.
Surviving You is full of drama and angst, with some sweet moments in it too. It is fast paced with a lot of action and a lot of twists and turns. And the ending. Wow. Dawn took a risk with it and I believe it paid off.
