Trapped between societal boundaries, siblings Tom and Theia Edwards thought they knew all about the family business they just inherited from their father. When the true nature of his dealings are revealed, they are thrust into the savage world of drug smuggling for a Mexican cartel.
Forced to continue the work their father once did or suffer the consequences of having their darkest secret exposed, they embark on a journey that will reel them into a nest of vipers full of deceit and betrayal at every turn. But underestimating the forbidden and unbreakable bond between Tom and Theia can prove to be just as deadly to anyone standing in their way.
Renee’s Four Star Review
You should be warned that this a taboo romance and you might want to think about that if taboo things bother you. But this book is really good and I enjoyed reading it so if you like taboo reads you will probably like this book too. This is the story of Tom and Theia who have just inherited their father’s business that they really do not know a lot about it. They also are obsessed with each other and nothing or no one is going to get in the way of their love for one another. Things are never as simple as I made this seem because Tom really did try to avoid the way he was feeling at every turn until it was just to much and he couldn’t take it anymore. Now as a united front they are taking on their father’s business and are shocked when they are forced to carry on dealing with a Mexican cartel or lose their lives. This book is not to long, is really steamy and will keep you on your toes. I loved a lot of things about this book but really loved how it turned out and I couldn’t put it down.
