This is the third book in the Hawks MC: Next Generation Series. You can read this book as a complete standalone but I have loved the other books in this series too.
This is the story of Texas and Maya. These two have known each other for as long as they have been alive. He is her brother’s very best friend in the world and he has always seen her as the little sister and nothing more. She, however, has had a crush on him for as long as she can remember. As time goes on and she realizes that he is never going to be interested in her like that she decides the time has come to protect her own heart. Texas is an amazing and sought after tattoo artust. He is really working hard to get his business off the ground and running. However he also feels like there is something missing and maybe he really needs to have someone in his life. After all his best friend Cody and Ruin have both settled down and seem to love it. Why wouldn’t he love it too? If so who would be the perfect woman? Or has it been right in front of him this entire time and he just never took the time to notice.
I really really loved reading this book. I loved that we got Texas’s story and that we got to see some familiar faces too. I fell so in love with both these characters and they story they have to tell is just amazing. I loved every single second of it.

Lila was born in Brisbane Australia, her step-dad was in the Army which caused them to move around a lot. They finally settled in country Victoria, Australia. Being the youngest of four children she admits she was spoilt a bit. Even drove her mum crazy when she refused to eat meat at a young age.
Now, Lila lives with her husband and two children.
She started writing in 2013 and self-published the first of the Hawks MC: Ballarat Charter series- Holding Out. Since then, she has published eleven other titles, which range from erotica, humorous romance, YA and paranormal.
