The Baller

by Vi Keeland

Release and Review

Blurb

The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room.

It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster.

The famed quarterback decided to bare all.

And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets.

No.  The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question.  On camera.

The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me.

When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.

But I don’t date players.

And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football.

I’d date an athlete.

It’s the other kind of player I don’t date.

You know the type.  Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.

Brody Easton was the ultimate player.

Every woman wanted to be the one to change him.

But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for.

Turned out, I was that girl.

Simple right?

Let’s face it.  It never is.

There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after…

And this one is ours.

Virginia’s Review

Vi totally hit it out of the park with this one. I know. Wrong sport, but still. She did. I loved The Baller!! Loved, loved, loved it! I’m not even sure if that expresses how much I loved it. The Baller is SO DAMN GOOD. I enjoyed every second of this book. Everything about it. It’s fun, it’s witty, it’s hot and sexy, it’s sweet and tender. It’s perfect.

The story itself will take you on a ride- you will be laughing one minute, swooning over Brody the next, then having your heart tugged at. All of the characters are well developed and an asset to the book. Their interactions are awesome. Their dialogue and banter is fantastic, as is the story itself.

Brody is perfection. Can we clone him and make him real? Seriously. He has the perfect personality. He’s one of my favorite book boyfriends. He’s cocky, a wiseass and sexy as hell. And underneath that strong, hard body is a huge heart. He’s so sweet and so caring. And to say he’s funny is a complete understatement. The comments he makes and the banter between him and Delilah had me laughing out loud. How could you not fall for him?

Much of the book is told in alternating point of view between Brody and Delilah and Vi nailed them both. Willow comes into the picture and then we have her chapters added into the mix. Even though I wanted to hate her, I couldn’t. And Indie. She was great. I want a best friend like her.

You know when you just love a book? Like hard. When you find one that makes you happy and you tell everyone about it and scream your love for it? The Baller is that book for me. To me, this one is a no brainer. It’s a must read! Go one click now!!!

About the Author

Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn’t change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work.  She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!
