The Best of Us is the second book in the Love In Isolation Series. If you haven’t read the first book, you really should. It is so good.. But, if you have not that is fine too because this is a best friends, opposites attract, and snowed-in together standalone romance. In the Best of Us we are with Ryan and Kendall in a cabin because of a blizzard. They are there prepping for his sisters honeymoon when they get stuck. This is so bad to both of them because they can not stand each other. This has been the case since they were little kids. Kennedy would do anything though for her best friend. However when things start to change and they start to realize they’ve been totally wrong about who one thought the other was their walls start to crumble and the story really takes off. I loved these characters so much. They just feel like someone you could be best friends with. I love a good enemies to lovers book and this one has everything in it that makes those so great.
