I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the second book in the Vicious Lost Boys Series from Nikki St. Crowe. This book is dark and it has some paranormal elements in it. You have to read The Never King first or you will be terribly lost. This book picks right back up where The Never King left off and finally Pan has his shadow in his grasp. Until…..he doesn’t!!!! That darn shadow well I should say both of them almost caused me great stress through this entire book because you will be thinking about them the entire time!! Now besides Vane there is another dark and he is dangerous shadow on the the lose and I promise he is going to give you a heart attack in the first few chapters. I swear I couldn’t breathe but I guess I should say that when this book hit my kindle I dropped everything I was dying to know what was going to happen and I don’t think I can tell you much and not give something away. Of course Pan and Vane Kas and Kane are in the book along with our Darling girl we all fell for in the first book. Now we get introduced to Captain Hook and the Fae Princes is back in this one and oh my gosh I can’t stand her!!! But there is also mention of the Crock and I am a nervous wreck to find out more about him. He scares me just a little bit and he is related to one of the characters. Now that Pan has his Darling they are treating her as such and I loved experiencing it all. And then there is Vane who fights the darkness that lives in him but is terrified to be with the Darling but I so knew he and she would find a way and we get to learn more about him in this book and I think it made me love him even more. This book is equally as good as the first. Has a ton of stuff going on in and and then BAM~~~~I think my heart absolutely stopped at the cliffhanger!!! I sure didn’t see that coming and never would have ever guessed that is the way it would go. I need book three now!!!! I am about scared to find out what is going to happen but I so need to know too. If you like retellings of fairy tales and your books on the dark side of the moon then you need to read this one. Do not even hesitate just go and read and then you can thank me latter because this will go down as one of my favorite series of 2022.1 like
