Protected but not submitted Emerald struggles with wanting to find her Dom.  She craves serving her Dom – yet he remains elusive.  She gets some submissive relieve being protected by a Dom who has a collared submissive.  Emerald is having dreams of her dream Dom.  If only she  could just find him.  She’s struggling with why she continues to hang around Genesis when she doesn’t find if fulfilling her needs.

A terrible event happens to land her in the club owner’s office.  Mika.  A handsome but elusive Dom only a select few knows.  The Dom Emerald has been dreaming about is Mika.  He’s been a Master before – holds true to the thought he could only ever have one collared slave.  Only love one.  Though his Dom nature calls for another submissive – Emerald.

The story of these two was very eventful and great to see unfold.  Lots of lessons for each of them to learn as a Dom and submissive.  Their daily lives clashing with their D/s lives.  There are quite a few issues they have to work through.  The author has shown this process – of course mistakes are made but I think those are just part of human nature.  You can’t be perfect no matter how hard you try.

I would definitely recommend this book/series if you like reading D/s stories.  This one definitely has lots of drama but their story is great to watch unfold.

Now we’re gonna spice it up a bit!  This particular book has mfm scenarios and they’re hot.  I believe it would be hard for a woman to suddenly find herself in the midst of a Dom much less two at the same time.  Savannah finds herself in the middle of two Dom’s while on her annual vacation.  She’s never explored her submissive side.  Shied away from it really.  Now she really has no excuse.

Nick and Dylan are determined to get Savannah to submit to them.  They both believe after spending time with her she could be their one.  They’ve shared women before….but they’ve always searched for the one who would belong completely to them. Their dynamic was simple – as simple as a threesome could be I suppose.  Nick is the bigger Alpha and Dylan was more easy going but still Alpha.  Dylan had some skeletons in his closet and Savannah looked forward to helping him work through them.  Though she didn’t think she deserved either man.

Fighting for what you truly want comes with great rewards.  Especially if it’s meant to be.  These three had some major issues to work through.  The biggest of all being Savannah’s lack of submission knowledge – only from what she’d read – and getting her to understand they wanted her for longer than a week.

It would be hard to believe not one but two very dominate men wanted one woman to share, love, dominate – and do is successfully.  They all have quite a few issues to work through.  It might just come down to Savannah’s submission being enough.

Leagh the brat!  That’s what Tony always called her.  George, her Master, never minded much.  He enjoyed her company and their companionship.  When George dies suddenly, Leagh, is left without a master and unprotected in the community.  Tony immediately steps up to the job.  This worries and  scares Leagh.  Tony’s a sadist.  She’s never wanted to explore that side of BDSM.

I think this story was my favorite of the four.  I can totally identify with Leagh and her snarky attitude.  I give as good as I get as well.  I know I would be in constant trouble if I would ever know a Dom.  I can’t keep the sarcastic comments from coming out sometimes.  I laughed and held my breath at times during this story.  Leagh is really awesome and she definitely keeps Tony on his toes!

Now, like any other book there is some major drama in this one.  Leagh’s former Master’s ex-wife and daughter are two pieces of work.  They’re just nasty people.  Completely vindictive and just nasty.  Leagh is the brunt of their nasty vindictive shenanigans.  Tony and the other Dom’s help to keep her as safe as possible all the while keeping watch on Genesis and their own subs.

It’s all a mess.  Probably why I liked it so much.  Lots to keep up with and of course the unfolding love story between Tony and Leagh.  Not a match you’d think would be perfect – but they absolutely are.

On a visit for a client Mellie found herself having one night with a famous artist and Dom calling to her submissive side she’d repressed so far down she was almost drowning in it.  Visiting her sister in Chicago while on this business trip she had no idea she would run into Joshua again.

Master Stephen, as Joshua is known by at Genesis, is not really surprised to see Mellie when she visits Genesis with her sister Savannah.  Though Savannah didn’t know Stephen and Joshua are one in the same.  Thrown by this knowledge Mellie tries her best to stay way though she’s desperately called to serve Joshua.  Her soul craves it.

Her first Master really did a number on her and she’s trying to stifle her submissive urges.  She’s a very dominate worker, though she aches to submit in the bedroom.  Her time with Joshua called to her.  Fighting it at every turn – before Savannah steps in to talk to her sister about what is the real problem.

I liked this story, like the others, it had its issues between the D/s couple.  There was lots Mellie had to learn about submission and of course there’s a little matter of someone out to kill her.  Protection can only go so far.  The one thing I did like about this series is the characters all appear in each book, though there is one couple each book is focused on.  They all seem to work together to insure each others safety and offer any assistance with issues that arise.  Finding a killer is definitely one of those issues.  Each of the D/s pairs works together to help Mellie and Joshua in their pursuit of safety and figure out who would be out to get her.
