This is the story of Gemma and Kristoff. She is a widow and is having to go back to work and has a job interview for that of an administrative assistant for him. However there are more things that are required than administrative duties. Being the good girl that she is a little shocked she refuses his offer and he is not having it. Nobody tells her not and he immediately has a private investigator look into her background. The man is ruthless when he wants something and that investigation leads to him finding that he could hold over her head to get what he wants. His offer is just for two months of a trial period as just his assistant to give himself the time he needs to convince her to sign the contract he really wants her to sign. He is quickly becoming obsessed with this woman. This is their story and it is not always and easy one. He about drove me nuts with his jealously. When I say jealously you better not be a man and even look at Gemma or you are in really big trouble. He was in a terrible marriage and she is a widow that has her own issues and you get to work though these issues with them but I wasn’t a fan of feeling like he was punishing her for something this ex wife had done. This to Gemma had to be scary as she didn’t have the greatest marriage either and she has her children to think about. It is a office romance that takes it to a whole other level and just might turn out to be the best job she has ever had. You have to read to find out.
