Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

What happens when you travel across the country for your dream job and end up sharing a bed with an older man who volunteers you to be his fake girlfriend? You hope you don’t fall in love when it is time to say goodbye

The Fall of Us is an age gap romance. This is the story of Finn and Oakley. I have to say that right off the bat these two have some of the most amazing chemistry. Finn is kind of a grumpy man and he is teased relentlessly for his age. However a past breakup has put him into a foul mood and has turned him into a big old grump. That’s how people know him now. Oakley is a artist and she travels all the time for her dream job. The girl just radiates pure joy and you can not help but be happy when you are around her. So instantly I loved these two characters. When she ends up in Vermont it is to stay in the most amazing Inn and when she meets Finn he asks her for a big favor. He needs a girlfriend in theory and that is what he asks her to be for him. When Oakley agrees it is reluctant because the fear of really falling in love with the grumpy Finn is very real. As I have said, I love these two characters. I loved the story they had to tell and could have spend days lost in their story. This just might be my most favorite of the Love in Isolation Series.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
