The Final Play is a novella from Liz Lovelock. It is one that you will read in one sitting as you will not want to put it down. This is the story of two best friends since teenagers. April and Spencer. They have been through a lot together and were best best friends for a long time. Spencer had a dream of playing ball and on the day he left town to go and achieve that dream she let him walk away while not telling him that she was in love with him and wanted him to stay. However she knew it was important to Spencer to go after his dream and she didn’t want to be selfish and keep him from it. Now their other two best friends are getting married and Spencer is coming home to be the best man. This story is short and sweet and to the point. Your going to fall in love with these characters and the major decision in this book will have you haning on to see what the answer will be. I loved it. It was so much fun and light hearted. This is a great Liz Lovlock book you won’t want to miss.
