About The Harder They Ride

I was a woman of extremes, living a life of intense passion and fierce emotions in the rugged landscape of West Texas.

When I cried, I drowned.

When I loved, I burned.

And when I met Declan Wilder, a man with a dangerous past and a killer smile, I felt alive like never before. Little did I know that he was a key player in the criminal underground rodeo circuit, where danger and desire went hand in hand. Little did I know, he had been hired to kill me.

When he aimed, he destroyed.

When he obsessed, he consumed.

Our love burned hot, an insatiable fire that threatened to destroy us both in a world of lawless men and high-stakes games. Declan was my forbidden flame, a man with a dark past and a possessive streak that threatened to consume me whole. Still, I ached for him, even if it meant facing the deadly consequences of his criminal ties in the gritty and unpredictable wild of the west.

When we fell, we crashed.

When he claimed, he ruined.

I knew I was destined to ride the thrilling waves of passion and adventure, even if it meant risking it all on a journey where love, danger, and villains collided.

“The Harder They Ride” is a standalone novel with a HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhangers. If you love dark romance, get ready for the twisted tales of small-town romance that no one dares to tell.

This book contains very dark themes that might be triggering for some readers. Please proceed with caution.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of ththis book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Buckle up for this wild ride. I am going to go ahead and tell you now that when you pick this book up you are not going to put it down. In this story you will meet Hank the leader of the Dust Devil’s who have a rodeo out in the desert and it is super dangerous as they are a gang. This brings us to Clover Matthews who is trying her best to save her sister. Her sister who wants to be a bull rider no matter who she has to ride for. She’s following in her father’s footsteps and Clover knows how that turned out and won’t let it happen to her sister. She’s all shes go. When she goes to search her out she literally runs into Declan Wilder. Hot, bull rider and super dangerous. He’s there for one thing and one thing only. To find out who killed his mother. But from the second he sees Clover he is obsessed. He’s about to be the protector she for sure does not want nor needs. That’s about all I can tell you about the story. Once you pick up this book it is full steam ahead to the very end. I loved Clover. She is a young lady trying to keep her and her sisters heads above water the right and legal way. She knows tragedy and she’s not letting history repeat itself. Declan is just bad to the bone and smoking hot and a little on the scary side. I certainly would not want to mess with him. You are going to love these characters. The story thy have to tell is dark and twisted and I loved every single second of it.
