This is the second book in the Gentlemen Rogues Series. You need to read The Heir first. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book after reading The Heir. If you have read a Nana Malone book you know that your going to be on the edge of your seat at times while your kindle is trying to not burst into flames from all the hotness happening in the book. Once you pick this book up you are not going to want to put it down because Lachlan and Saffron have quiet the story to tell. These two are so entertaining from the first to the last page. Saffron is just one of those strong fierce female characters that I just love to read about. She is such a bad butt and good at her job that is going to be the one training Lachlan for the Rogues. The Rogues is her families business and they are a secret group of assassins. Her job is to train the rookies and she is trying her best to follow in her parents footsteps in the business while her brother Gage has other plans that include keeping her out of danger as much as possible. Lachlan is the new rookie that Saffron is training and she and have have already met when they had one steamy night together with her leaving his bed early the next morning. He is a billionaire and known for his playboy way but he has more than earned his place. However while Saffron remember every detail about the night she and Lachlan shared, he seems to not even remember that night at all. Now they are one a mission and having to pretend to be a married couple. These two are pure fire and will have you at times cracking up at the banter between the two of them. You have to read this book to fully understand my review. I was trying my best not to say anything to spoil this book for anyone. I loved it and with as much as I loved Lachlan and Saffron there are side characters in this series that I am so hoping we get their stories too. I always have loved that about Nana Malones writing style. She makes you want to know more about every single character in a book no matte how big or small the part is they are playing in the current book your reading.
