 Release Date: October 15

How did this happen? I’m Vida Wakefield, and I had a plan.
4 simple rules to follow:

– Get a best friend.
– Pass high school.
– Keep my virtue until after graduation.
– Follow my dreams.
With my university acceptance letter in hand, I could move away from the small town that consumed me, and everything would finally be perfect.
No more secrets…
But then my past collided with my future when I laid eyes on Mr. Tomlinson.
My perfect future disintegrated when he stood in front of our class and introduced himself.
My life plan was ripped to shreds.
Renee’s Four Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Buckle up because this is one wild and crazy ride that you might just not want to get off of. But then I have to warn you that you might be confused or maybe it was just me but the end of this book was very confusing to me. This is too a book that is going to alternate chapters between the past which is nine years ago and the present. The past is when Conner and Vida met so you get there back story too but it was a little odd to me. There has always been an age gap even when they first met of course, between Conner and Vida, so in the present the age gap is still there, that is never going away but now he is her teacher. Why they couldn’t be together is still a mystery to me and even after finishing the book I still don’t understand what was keeping these two apart. I really liked these characters and I really need to know what happens next and if all one hundred questions I was left with get answered in the next book. I sure hope so because right now I’m just a big old confused question mark. This is why the book didn’t get five stars out of me. There’s some major things to learn about these two I do believe and in the past chapters we would get some pretty big revelations and bam before you can really process you’re thrown right back into the present. Maybe this added to my confusion and maybe it’s just confusing. Its not a bad read and it’s good enough that I have to know what in the world is going on.
