SYNOPSIS

What can I say about a book that literally embodies everything I love in a PNR? The only thing that comes to mind is, “OMG!” and “I want MORE!”. No really. I. Want. MORE!!!!
Ms. Owen has had me salivating over her books ever since I picked up her first dragon shifter novel, and she’s still keeping me begging for more. The way she brings these shifter worlds alive, intertwining previous series with the current, has me fantasizing, dreaming that “I” lived within it. I truly wish I was a dragon….or maybe even one of the human mates. It really doesn’t matter. I just want “in”. LOL
Ok, enough about me….
Levi is the beta enforcer for the Hurricans. He’s always been the protector of not only his family, but the humans they vowed to look after. But he’s been keeping a secret. A secret that he’s held in for 200 years. You heard me. 200 years!!!!!! It finally time to confess, but his timing couldn’t be worse. Now, he needs to set things in motion, before it’s too late.
Lyndi is a female-born dragon. Ever since she followed her brother and became a “family member” to the Hurricans, she had to prove her worth. What better way than helping all of the orphan shifters, right? Sounds like she’s done a pretty good job over the years. Now if she can just prove to herself that she doesn’t have feelings for a certain gold dragon…
Nothing like a life changing event to kick start the heart, right? That’s exactly what these two are faced with, yet pull together to weather the storm. Just like the other books in this series, there will be twists and turns and lots of feel good moments. Every time I pick up one of these books, I fall deeper in love with these characters….don’t make it stop!!!
