The Storm by Rayna Tempest Release and Review

The Storm by Ranya Tempest is now live!

Our worlds couldn’t have been more different.
But then our worlds slammed into each other, and the results were explosive in more ways than one.
It should have been nothing more than a dream.
A petty fancy neither was prepared for. Yet what happened would be remembered for a long time to come.
They said love was blind… but what about lust?

Storm
Escaping my past wasn’t easy, but I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. My way out of the life I was used to. The Legion MC was behind me now, and thanks to Harry, I was finally ready to embrace the life I had always dreamed of and deserved.
There was only one problem.
Harry was trouble, and I couldn’t help myself. My body behaved funny around him, even as his presence introduced more chaos into my turbulent life.
His dominance was imminent.
I was his beautiful obsession.
His unbound fixation.
His bratty submissive.
But I couldn’t abide his house rules. I had my own hidden agenda.
Something was approaching. I knew I would be forced to choose between my desire and my future.
And that was just not fair.

Harry

This was supposed to be my one chance to escape the past. In Storm I found a woman who thrilled and excited me. One who managed to press all the right buttons.
My passionate Storm awakened a lust I didn’t know I was missing. Too bad I had so many secrets. Should I risk dragging her down with me, or could I summon the courage to set her free before I imploded?
She belonged to me.
Bound by desire and obsession.
A woman I would do anything for, making this the hardest decision of my life. I was forced into actions I should have never had to take.
And that was just not fair.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the second book in a duet. You will need to read The Mentor first or you will be very lost. This is also I guess we will call it a dark romance. You will want to read the trigger warnings in the beginning of the book. Because it for sure has some things that might be triggering between the pages. This is a story about love and obsession and the thin line between the two of them. It is an age gap professor/student romance too. If you read the Mentor this is where Harry and Storm. met. Talk about complete opposites. These two are certainly that but it still doesn’t stop their chemistry She has been raised in the MC and is for sure a MC princess who wanted to break free and explore a little but mainly go to college. He is her professor and mentor and he is just as attracted to her as she is him and the lust is rolling off the pages. This book picks up where The Mentor left off and what a book it was to read. Storm has escaped her life and now with the backing of the MC she ready to take on the life she has always dreamed about. Harry has a past too and had seen and done things that nightmares are made of but in Storm he found someone who helped with all of that. But he has secrets and the past is closing in on him and he has a decision to make. Keep her and drag her down with him or set her free so she can have the life she do desperately wants and deserves. Get ready for your kindle to melt in your very hands. There are some really hot moments in this book. I am not so sure that Harry wasn’t a little on the insane side at times and you will see what I mean when you read this book. This is a book full of lust or passion. I lean more to the lust side but deep down in that lust their is obsession but you will never convince me that that obsession wasn’t love. Just a love that not everyone will understand or find, but to Storm and Harry that obsession and love was everything. I know this is a cryptic review but I didn’t want to get into the story. Don’t get me wrong, I could talk about this story for a good long while, but I am terrified I will say something that would be a spoiler. And, I would never ever want to do that. I really loved reading The Mentor and The Storm. I didn’t have to wait to read the second book and read them all in one fell swoop. I loved every single second I spent reading these book. I look so forward to reading what Rayna Tempest writes next. I noticed these were her first two books and that surprised me! She has a true talent and you are going to be addicted just like me.
