If you are a fan of angst then you are in the right place. This is the story of Lo and Gabe and they are so going to steal your heart and never give it back to you. Lo needs a distraction. All she can think about is her ex and she really needs to get over him. She never went there expecting to meet Gabe but she does and they have this instant connection. Gabe is really a really tall southern viking with all the tattoos and so smoking hot. He is also in the right place at the right time and just the guy that Lo needs to help her out. However they aren’t really around each other all that long but they did have their moment until they meet again when she is visiting her friend Annie a couple of months later and is shocked to she her southern viking is Annie’s boyfriend. He has officially become off limits to Lo. Annie is her friend and no matter how much she is attracted to Gabe nothing can ever come of the moment they had a few months ago. There is only one thing they can do since he has a girlfriend and they quickly become the very best of friends. No matter how much their little touches and conversations and moments they always make sure to never give in to their feelings. This is where I thought they were so much fun together. But I am sucker for all the flirting and keeping things at a friends level. It really ramps up the tension between these two in a major way. Their friendship is so much fun to watch blossom and then bloom. However life is never that simple and things quickly get really messy and here is where your heart is going to shatter for these two but I can’t really tell you why or that would be a major spoiler. This is a story that you’re going to fall in love with. Go on a emotional roller coaster between these two. Your going to cry a few tears and close the book feeling like all the world is right once again. You do not want to miss this book.
