The Las Vegas Love Duet by Penelope Black is LIVE and FREE to read with Kindle Unlimited! Start with book one, The Wren!

As the firstborn King, I should be the heir to the Irish Syndicate.

Instead, my father wants to marry me off to the highest bidder to fund a war I don’t believe in.

My carefully controlled life starts to unravel, spiraling out of control faster than I can stop it.

And then I meet them, and I can breathe again.

Tall with perpetual smirks and covered in tattoos, they remind me what it feels like to live.

Renee’s Four Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports. This is the conclusion to the Love Vega Duet. You will have to read The Wren first or you are going to be lost.
We left the last book off with a huge explosion at the church. However Maeve finds herself once again face-to-face with the Santorini heir she was contracted to marry. However their list of enemies is growing quickly. Needing to make a plan though they have no choice but to get on a plane and head for an undisclosed private island to make a plan. It is also the perfect opportunity for them to get to know each other and they just might like what they find out about each other. You have to read to see if they actually do and find out if they survive the threats against them. I loved these characters. Maeve is fierce and stays that way through the entire series. This was a good conclusion but I would have loved to have seen more of everyone functioning as a complete unit. It just felt like we were missing a huge chunk of the relationships going on.

Remind me that I don’t need someone to save me.

I’m a King. I can save myself.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
