I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Mave is the oldest of the King sisters and she has been the family fixer for as long as she can remember. The story begins when she is twelve and then moves along to when she is twenty three when her father “The Hammer”, tells her that she will not be inheriting the thrown she will instead be married to the Santorini heir. And arranged marriage. Mave is having no part in this little plan of her fathers and she is more than determined to change the fate her father has thrown upon her. She and her sisters will make you want to have sisters of your own. I absolutely loved the bond that they all had. There is nothing that they wouldn’t do for each other. Mave is strong and fierce and would make any sacrifice that she had to to makes sure her sisters were happy. I so can not wait to get to know more about the guys. I felt like we were introduced to them but we didn’t get to know a lot about them in this first book of the duet. I can’t wait to have the second book in my hands and see what happens next.
