BLURB My life went pitch black with a single command from the man I thought I lovedโ โTake her as collateralโ. I was a naรฏve college student, delivered into the violent world of Jude Pearson, an infamous criminal and murderer. And the only thing I could think about was escape. But with each passing day, the dark beauty that lurked within his moss-green eyes pulled me in a little deeper. Each rough touch, each gruff demand, dragged me deeper beneath his cold waters until I no longer wanted to break the surface. And how was I supposed to make it out alive when I craved the touch of the man I knew would kill me? I convinced myself I wouldnโt. That maybe neither of us wouldโฆ Add to your Goodreads TBRโ https://bit.ly/TWKOL-GR
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book form the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
I was actually shocked when I saw on Goodreads that this is the rewritten stories of Wrong and Wrath. These books released in twenty sixteen and I read both of them. I had to look it up because it had been a while but I didn’t know this was a story that I had read before and you won’t either I don’t think. It felt to me like reading a whole different story and I was hooked from the beginning to the very end. We can’t talk about the middle of the book yet or I will be wanting to throw my kindle, punch someone in the face and possibly throw up but certainly I fought crying but finally did a few chapters after I got so upset. Now I know this makes no sense to you and I don’t even know that I should tell you the first thing about this book. But it is about Victoria and Jude. A girl who dreams of being a doctor and a bookie I guess is what I would call him. He is the criminal and she is the sweet innocent girl just minding her business until Jude sends someone to collect money that is owed him from her boyfriend and he gave her to that man as collateral and never paid. I loved Victoria and let me say too that she is no wimp at all and give it to Jude at times sticking up for herself. But something sinister is going on and they don’t realize it. And that is all you get out of me. I devoured this book and Loved every second of it. I love when Stevie J. Cole and LP Lovell write a book together. It has the most amazing flow and you are one the edge of your seat most of the time but I was also a mess a blubbering mess reading this book too. I so wish I could say why but I can’t so I won’t but gosh someone tell me they were a mess too reading this book!!! I can not wait to see what these two come up with next.

About Renee Henson
Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too.
