I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the third book in the Darling Hill Series. This is a standalone and can be read as that but I have to say that I loved the first two book also and you will love them too. I was so excited to get this book in my hands and I didn’t lay it down until I was finished either. I have to say that this book was an emotional read for me. Zane and Celeste have quite the story to tell. Zane is a bit of a wild man and he really does have a broken soul. When he and Celeste meet they are from totally different worlds. She is a girl that gives the impression that she has everything anyone would ever need in the world. That is exactly what Zane thought and she quickly becomes his new target for just exactly how feels about her. However that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want her just as badly and you have yourself one heck of a hate/love relationship going on. I loved the banter between these two. I loved everything about this story. These two can really heat up your kindle.
