She escaped me once, but I’m back to claim what’s mine
They say I’m crazy, public enemy number one
I kill others with a smile on my face
I’m the king in the shadows who hunts those that deserve it
And now I’ve come to collect
Paxton is the only one that recognized the darkness inside
The anger that consumes me
I’ll make her scream
Beg
And she’s going to love every second of it
Paxton is the one that opened my eyes, and wasn’t scared of the monster I’ve become
The hunt is on and she’s the prize
I’m not stopping until I get what I want
Sweet dreams baby, I’m coming for you
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is a dark story so you need to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. It will contain triggers for some readers. Jonathan is a stalker and Paxton is a bounty hunter getting ready to make her first arrest. But what she doesn’t know is that Jonathan has a trap set for her that she is about to walk right in to. Jonathan is a stalker and has some pretty lethal skills. But he is protective and loyal and you can’t help but to love that about him. Paxton though is a bad butt. I loved her. If you like strong female characters then your going to love Paxton. I loved the entire story and it is one that you can devour in no time at all.
L.A. Wayward is a lover of dark romance, with an even darker edge of smut and taboo.
She loves her stories with a whole lot of action, romance and lots of steam.
She writes pull at your heartstrings books filled with scorching brooding Alpha men and badass women in search of a HEA.
Because let’s face it—who doesn’t like to spend their time fantasizing about hot guys?
