BLURB

We are just friends. I swear.

When I meet my best friend’s older brother, Tuck, there is an instant connection, but the timing is all wrong.  He’s on the rebound and I am about to graduate and move away.

So we will just be friends. Close friends. Friends who sometimes share a bed and maybe do more than sleep…

But I can’t get emotionally attached. Not when I’m moving back home soon. Home to my new job, my family, and where Wes is waiting for me. Besides, everyone knows Wes is who I’m going to marry. Right?

CHRISTINA’S FOUR STAR REVIEW

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!

After grabbing the first book in this series months ago, I knew that this author had more to say. And even though the first book was good, this book was better! This author has a way with writing. It’s not just a story, it’s a journey, and I couldn’t get enough.

If you haven’t read the first book, it’s not a big deal (although I HIGHLY recommend you read it). This could read as a standalone, but you’d be a tiny bit lost when certain characters are mentioned. That being said, this is Tucker and Courtney’s story…and it’s beautiful.

Tucker is Haley’s brother (Haley is from the first book). While out drinking and celebrating being single, he meets Haley’s best friend Courtney. After a lot of drinks, dancing and side splitting laughter, the night is over too soon…and he doesn’t remember any of it.

Courtney’s the bestie. She’s consumed with her classes and assignments, knowing that a job is waiting for her when she returns home after graduation. You know what else is waiting for her at home? Her ex-boyfriend who is “destined” to be hers…right? Then why does it feel wrong? Especially when she’s constantly thinking about someone else.

Like I mentioned earlier, this is a journey. I mean, come on, we can all guess how this is going to end, right? Just read the title. It’s the journey that makes this book so good. Yes, there are ups and downs. Yes, there is self reflection and oh yeah, there’s plenty of the steamy stuff too. I honestly didn’t think that this would have been a book where I’d shed tears, but alas, I did….a couple of times.

This author has pulled my heart strings and I’m completely hooked. Bring on the next one. I have a funny feeling that I’ll be enjoying that one just as much if not more.
