I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

This is the first rock star book from this author.  It really isn’t centered on the artists career though – which I liked.  It gave a different twist.  We have Heather and Eli in We Own Tonight.  Eli is a rock star – and Heather’s childhood heart throb.  Attending his concert she never thought he’d take notice of her.  But take notice he did.

You know one of those once in a lifetime chances?  That’s what happened here.  They locked eyes.  He couldn’t stop looking over at her.  Then you’d like to think the rest was history.  But no.

Heather has a tremendous amount of personal baggage.  She’s a homebody.  She’s definitely not the one night stand type character – but allows herself one night with her heartthrob.  Never thinking their one night could turn into something more.

There is quite a bit of emotion packed into these characters.  Quite a bit is happening in this story.  You will want to hold and hug them.  Just to tell them everything will be alright.

If you’re a reader of Corinne Michaels already you won’t be disappointed in this book.  If she’s a new to you author – this particular book will give you all the feels along with a great love story.  Definitely give it a chance.

Corinne has written another great story with We Own Tonight. Eli is in a famous band and Heather had a huge crush on him as a kid. She still does. She attends one of his concerts and he notices her. This is a story that had me smiling and swooning. Eli and Heather are both so great. Not only romantically, but I loved the way they were both there for each other when they needed the other. This story is quite emotional and also sweet and had me loving the “he’s famous” aspect. There are twists and turns and ups and downs and through it all I couldn’t put it down.
