I was never supposed to fall for her. She’s forbidden, my best friend’s little sister. She came to me for help and I couldn’t turn her away.
I’m not supposed to have her, to touch her, or love her. I’m toxic, I always have been. People leave me one way or the other, they never stick around, and it’s turned my heart black. I refuse to get too close to her, but when she cries, begging me to find her missing brother, I can’t say no.
I’ve stayed away for years, making the club my life. They’re my brothers, the ones who never leave and always have my back. She’s not from my new world, she doesn’t fit, but I don’t want her to.
She’s my weakness. The woman I’d do anything for and when she’s threatened, I learn there are no limits. She’s mine to protect, to touch, and keep forever.
No one will ever claim her… except me.
A romantic suspense motorcycle club series by Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling Author Sapphire Knight with no other books in the series needing to be read. Book one is B*stard, book 2 is Dirty Boy, and both are available now. Each book can be read as a COMPLETE STANDALONE. Enjoy!
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Plague and Lacey. Lacey’s brother and Asher have been best friends. She has had a crush on her brother’s best friends for a while. But, he is off limits. Now after all these years have passed Lacey needs help and the only person she knows that can help her would be Seth. Only now he isn’t the Asher she knew for years. He is now Plague and a member of the RBMC. He isn’t the same boy that she once knew. He now has a heart that is not as soft as it once was. Life has taught him a lot of lessons and he has a new family in the RBMC. However, he could never forget his best friend and his sister. He also knows that he can’t refuse to give her the help that she so desperately needs since her brother has been taken and her life is on the line. I love that these two got the opportunity to know each other as adults. I hate the situation that brought them together but I loved that he had a chance now. She is grown and he is different and these adult feelings are much more than the crush she had on him as younger her. I loved reading this book. It was absolutely a page turner. There is a lot going on in this book. So much, that you will not be able to lay it down. You do not want to miss this book I also got to read the first two books, and they are equally as amazing as this one.
